Down Teide Tour
We go to the Teide National park in a mini bus and come down on bikes, covering 22 miles on surfaced roads, at moderate speed and making frequent stops to enjoy the views, take photos, or have a drink and sample the local “Tapas”.
A fun, relaxed ride that will put a big smile on your face. This tour is geared to individuals and families who enjoy feeling the breeze on their face and the freedom of the open road. We will pick you up at your hotel/apartment (or an accessible point for accommodation in pedestrian areas) to start our mini-bus ride up to the National Park of Teide.
Once at our starting point (approx: 2000m) you will be fitted with helmets, reflective vests, gloves (and other equipment depending on weather conditions) and have a drink whilst being made aware of the simple manoeuvering signals our guide will use during the tour.
Then we’re off! Downhill to the ocean! There’s virtually no pedaling, so you can take in the scenery, smell the aromas of pine forest and wild flowers or just chat with fellow bikers.
Frequent stops are made to enjoy spectacular views, take photos and slake our thirst.
Leaving the forest behind, we carry on down through quaint villages and vineyards, coming to a peaceful.
Then it’s back on the bikes for the last leg of our journey – to the coast!
Then it’s time for ‘home’ and for us to say: Hasta la proxima (See you next time).

Lovely way to see the mountains and forests, staff clearly love what they do and are knowledgeable, they ensure everyone is comfortable with the pace and provided a lovely local picnic. Support vehicle is with the group all the way.
